"Shirakaba Lodge" is located on the slopes of a ski resort and is accessible by minibus. A large sign with "Shirakaba Lodge" on it will welcome you as you arrive. Let's stretch, relax, and lay down. As soon as the sky turns dark, a sea of stars will unfold in the night sky before your very eyes. We also have warm drinks to add to your relaxation.

For over 120 years, Koiwai Farm has had a history of "creating a green environment, from dairy farms to forests". The new barns and milking facilities, facilities that are considered integral to the recycling business by generate electric power from waste and compost, and exclusive dairy products are considered cultural assets. It is a bus tour that will show you "the true form of Koiwai Farm". Koiwai Farm has been elected by the local committee of ICOMOS to be among the "20th World Heritage Top 20".

Witness Tohoku’s biggest show of 1.3 million lights and stars. Watch Koiwai farm’s transformation into a galaxy farm during winter.
Koiwai Farm is located at the bottom of Mt. Iwate. The lights show is held annually beginning on November 18. It is Tohoku's largest lights show, covering the area in beautiful lights. You can grab some food or go shopping since shops and restaurants are open for this special occasion. In addition, fireworks will be prepared every Saturday. Enjoy the illumination competition and the sky full of stars and fireworks.

A kayak is a closed-deck canoe, where one sits with legs facing in front and paddles with a double blade paddle.
Spend a wonderful time at the cobalt blue Lake Takizawa, Japan's deepest lake. The surface of the lake water reflecting the blue skies will make you feel like you are floating. Why don't you grab this chance to try out this paddle sport, enjoy nature, and spend a wonderful time with your friends and family? This is a good experience, even for beginners! You will get to learn the basic paddling techniques!

A ninja-themed activity inside Shizukuishi snowland at the space adjacent to the hotel.
This is a Ninja athletics activity, where one could conquer the snowy mountain, walk like a ninja, and other ninja activities--both children and adults. A ninja patrol goes around the ski slope during Saturdays and holidays, and participants can take pictures with our staff who are dressed up like ninja. Post the picture on Facebook, show it to a ski center staff, and get a special gift, limited to the first 20 guests!
